Martin C. Duffy
Master of Whisky
Bushmills & The Diageo Whisky Brands

Martin C. Duffy is a nationally known whisky ambassador for Bushmills, Johnnie Walker, The Classic Malts & the whiskies of Diageo. A stellar presenter on the finer qualities of whisky (ham always goes well with a good scotch), he soon found John Barleycorn calling him on board full-time. An original member of the Johnnie Walker Kilted Clan, from there he studied the fine art of whisky making in Scotland, Ireland, Canada, Kentucky and Tennessee. For over a decade, he has preached the gospel according to spiritus frumenti to over 100,000 people throughout the United States! After years of holding the title Master of Scotch, Martin expanded his range into the other fine whiskies of the world and currently holds the title of Master of Whisky Knowledge for the Northern Midwest region of the United States, representing the Johnnie Walker marques, The Classic Malt Selection, Bushmills Irish Whiskey, Bulleit Bourbon, Crown Royal Canadian Whisky, George Dickel Tennessee Whisky, as well as the Buchanan’s 18yo Blended Scotch Whisky. In addition to his love for his position, Celtic heritage, family, and country and, of course, his scotch whisky, Mr. Duffy is an accomplished cartoonist and a fanatic barware collector (especially of anything Johnnie Walker). In the spring of 2008, Martin will be based out of St. James Gate at the Guinness Brewery in Dublin in the new role of Diageo Spirits Ambassador for the Republic of Ireland.
